Chat with us

GOLIA works with clubs, academies, foundations and training organizations.

This page is addressed to them. It says who we are, what we are not yet, and what cooperation with us can concretely involve.

Who we are today

  • A legally declared Cameroonian association, registered on January 4, 2024
  • An operational structure without interruption since September 2023
  • c. 100 children supported, about half at zero cost to the family
  • 5 active categories
  • A written game identity, prepared sessions, a common evaluation grid
  • A competition organizer: two editions of the GOLIA Dream League

What is in progress

  • Becoming an accredited training center
  • Affiliation with the national federation — this is a committed milestone
  • Building twinning and cooperation with clubs and academies abroad
  • The trainings mentioned on this site are those followed by the founder; they nourish the academy's method without constituting a certification of GOLIA
  • We do not claim any recognition we have not obtained

What cooperation can include

What costs almost nothing

  • Host one of our coaches for a week of observation
  • A twenty to twenty-five minute technical point per quarter between coaching staffs
  • Access to your method documents: game model, session templates, evaluation grids
  • A letter of support for our institutional funding applications
  • An invitation to your youth tournament, travel at our expense

What costs little

  • Your reformed training equipment — we handle logistics and customs formalities
  • One of your technicians coming to Yaoundé, three to five days, for a session with our educators
  • Places for our coaches on your internal training courses
  • A supervised trial period for a sixteen or seventeen-year-old player, within the strict framework of international regulations and without any recruitment commitment

What involves commitment, and comes later

  • First right of review on our players when they come of age
  • Funding for an identified element: a category, a batch of scholarships, equipment
  • Secondment of an educator on site

What we do not ask for

  • No player under sixteen, in any context
  • No commitment on a number of players
  • No percentage on a future transfer
  • No obligation of results: we only ask for means

How to start

1 Look. This document, our statutes, our registers, and a filmed session. No commitment.

2 Exchange. Twenty to twenty-five minutes between your training staff and ours, on a topic of your choice.

3 Test. A short, observable and reversible cycle: we apply three of your recommendations and report back to you, in writing and on video.

4 Formalize. Only if the first three steps have produced something.

A visit to the activity site is possible upon request. Statutes, registers and child protection policy provided upon request.
